Connecting Volcanoes Lodges to Communities and Great Ape Conservation

We have recently released a short film that highlights some of Volcanoes Safaris Partnership Trust (VSPT) unique and special community and conservation projects around Volcanoes Safaris lodges. VSPT is a non-profit organisation that connects Volcanoes’ Rwanda and Uganda lodges to the neighbouring communities and conservation activities. VSPT aims to create long-term, self-sustaining projects that enrich the livelihoods of local communities, promote the conservation of the great apes, restore natural habitats and work with communities and institutions to reduce human-wildlife conflict. Funding is received through Volcanoes Safaris lodge guests as well as donations by conservation organizations and private individuals.
